EVData documents open electric-vehicle decoding. Cars talk to their own parts over internal networks. Most of that traffic is unpublished, so people who repair, research, or own a vehicle reverse-engineer it alone.
This site collects the shared part of that work: guides and a glossary you can quote. Vehicle pages and datasets are not here yet.
What we publish
- CAN and DBC guides written for a first capture session
- Short definitions you can cite
- Rules so a decode can be checked and reused
How to cite
Use the page URL, for example the DBC guide.
What we are not
Not a shop, not a vendor, and not a place for stolen firmware or exploits. The work is decoding public bus traffic for repair, research, and interoperability.
