A decode only counts if a second person can replay it. Intake is not open yet. This page is the checklist to use when it is.
What to send
- Vehicle: make, model, year, market, battery or drivetrain variant if known
- Bus: where you logged (OBD, a named connector), bitrate, classic CAN vs CAN FD
- DBC (or a marked draft) with unknown bytes left unknown
- A short log that shows the signal changing: charge start, a current step, not only ignition on
- Notes: how you checked scale (clamp meter, dash, charger display)
What not to send
- Firmware dumps, security keys, or immobilizer material
- Logs with unredacted VINs or other owner-identifying fields
- A vendor document copied and presented as your own
